Measles outbreak in Auckland

Travellers going to Auckland should be aware that there is a continuing outbreak of measles, and may wish to ensure they are immune to this nasty disease. It is advised that anyone born after 1968 should have received at least two doses of MMR vaccine. Those born before this time are likely to have had the disease as children and so be immune.
